Clearsnap Made In The USA Blog Hop

Clearsnap is Made in the USA so what better time to celebrate that fact than on the 4th of July!

Hop along with our team as they share patriotic projects to ring in this Independence Day here in the US.

Start at http://blog.clearsnap.com after 9am Pacific on July 4, 2013. Enter for your chance to win one of our EXCLUSIVE Limited Edition 3 Color Red, White, and Blue ColorBox Pigment Inkpads!!

Here's the entire Hop List:

I used the Limited Edition USA inkpad (along with some other great products from Clearsnap) to create a tissue paper fringe party banner. It would be fun to top a cake, as the centerpiece on a table, or super size it to hang from a front porch.

The tissue paper was sprayed with Stephanie Barnards Sprays! Inks in Blueberry and Strawberry along with a couple masks from Crafter's Workshop. I then folded them in half and snipped with a scissors to create the fringe.

The final step is to add as many or a few layers as you like. These die cut images were inked up with the Made In The USA inkpad and several of our Rollagraph stamp wheels. I also added a fun gold element with a Design Adhesive word topped with Gold Designer Foil.

Thanks so much for hopping with us today! Be sure to leave a comment below for chance to win. I'm the last stop on the hop but you can visit us on Facebook for lots more inspiration and fun!

Join the Clearsnap team all weekend long as we hop and scrap and hop some more! Our designers are bringing you a bundle of fun, inky techniques for your scrapbook pages. Just hop through and leave a comment on each post.

Each designer is giving away their own prize pack so be sure to visit every blog on the hop! Entries close on Monday May 6, 2013 at 12:00am.

I am sharing a mini that was started for my daughter's 5th birthday. She is very much into Fancy Nancy right now and making everything over-the-top adorned so I thought this canvas mini with lots of inky layers and embellishments would be just right to capture her at this moment in time.

The inside is yet to be completed but the cover was created using some masking and several layers of Mix'd Media Inx, Smooch Spritz and a touch of Smooch Accent Ink also.

That's it from me! Be sure to leave a comment below for a chance to win a set of Designer Foils and Design Adhesives! Thanks for stopping by!

Holiday Santa + Winners!

Hello Wednesday and happy 12.12.12! This day has extra special significance since it's also my daughter's 5th birthday today! Today I am sharing a card creating for the Pink by Design blog and if you stopped by Monday, you already know we are creating this week with non-traditional Christmas colors. The colors used here were inspired by these free printable gift tags found on Pinterest - so pretty!

In addition to the colors, today's card features an image colored with colored pencils. Certainly not my best skill, but Santa looks jolly smoking his pipe and tucked in behind the window.

I also have a couple winners to announce!

From the Pink by Design blog hop last week, the winner of the Fresh Goodies stamp set is:

Chris said...
Great project!
And from the World Card Making day hop (sorry so late on this one), the winner is:

Cindy Groh said...
Fabulous card. Love the sentiment. Thanks for the chance to win.

World Card Making Day!

Hello and happy world card making day! It's been pretty busy around our house with a new little boy babe these past couple weeks so I probably won't have a chance to craft along with you all today but I do have a card to share and some good stuff to give away too so keep reading!

This is a card I made one night after reading the kids In the Night Kitchen by Maurice Sendak before bed. After they finished giggling about the naked boy in the story and settled in, I snuck off and put together this card inspired by the image on the very last page. It kind of has a 70's vibe, do you think? My great grandma used to have a bunch of these odd sized cards with funky images on the front from that era. Plus the sun rays kind of look like an afro :)

Okay so onto the giveaway, but first to support a couple company's that I love....

Post your cards onto the Paper Issues FB page for a chance to win one of 4 $20 gift certificates to the Paper Shop! Woot Cassie!!

Pink by Design is also doing a challenge to celebrate the day for cards other than your typical A2 size. Stop by the blog to link up your square, easel and gatefold cards.

And I am giving away this half pint set called What's Your Number - super cute right?! Also a box full of card-making goodies from my stash - didn't have a chance to take a pic so it'll just have to be a surprise :) A mystery box!!

If you would like to be entered to win, please leave a comment below about anything you'd like, and if you are not already a follower of this blog, then please become one! I'll keep entries open through Monday night.

Have a wonderful day of card crafting!!

Chicago Mini Book + Blog Hop

Hello there! There is a new topic up at Paper Issues today and this time I am a part of the blog hop! The theme is "I Can See Clearly" and we want to see everything you have been making with transparencies, vellum, clear cardstock, etc. Of course there is a prize, sponsored by our own fabulous Lowri of Papervine and I am giving away a gift certificate to the Paper Issues shop too! So let's get started!

Here is everyone in the hop - visit in any order you'd like...

Sabrina ==> you are here

And check out this amazing giveaway!! Packed full of goodness and all you need to do to be eligible to win is "like" the PaperVine page on Facebook. It wouldn't hurt to be a follower of the Paper Issues blog and fan of the Facebook page here too. Then just leave a comment letting us know you did so on this post

Another lucky hopper has the chance to win a $10 gift certificate to the PI store, which is packed full of goodies. Just leave a comment letting me know you are a follower of this blog- and become a follower if you are not already :)

For my project, I put together a mini book to bring on my trip to Chicago and the CHA show next week! The cover is a transparency I made with some stamps and chalk ink on leftover stamp backing. It was inspired by that clear walk-way in the Sears (Willis?) Tower - which of course I won't be walking across since it looks terrifyingly high up! But that is THE Chicago landmark right?

There is some Sass paper layered behind which has a few more layers of paint and ink on top and the rest of the book is just some 6x6 Basic Grey paper which made it incredibly quick to put together.

On the cover I stamped with Lawn Fawn stamps and Colorbox Chalk Ink - chalk ink is the only kind that will dry on glossy surfaces (other than StazOn). You could emboss too if you are very patient and have a steady hand.

And that's all from me. Visit Lowri's blog next ♥

Pink by Design Release Hop

Hi and welcome to the Pink by Design stamp release blog hop!! There are so many adorable new stamps being released this evening during the Ustream and know Sarah is going to have some amazing prizes to give away too!! Also, be sure to tune in to find out who won the Silhouette Cameo!

So onto the new stamps! I had the chance to work with the Tooth Fairy set which contains several adorable sayings and coordinating images too!

And with it, I created a little pillow to contain lost teeth while they wait for the tooth fairy to arrive. It hangs on the end of the bed and I bet it makes it much easier for her to trade out teeth for treats without waking little ones ;)

This was an idea found on Pinterest, which contains tons and tons of cute ideas for depositing lost teeth - all of which would work great with this stamp set.

The backside has a little pocket with felt tooth applique.

I stamped directly onto both the fabric and the felt with Crafter's Ink. You can also stamp on fabric with Chalk Ink. Heat set either with a heat gun or hot iron to set the color into the fabric and make it permanent and washable!

And that's all from me today! Please leave a comment and become a follower of this blog for the chance to win some blog candy as well! It will have to be a surprise since I haven't taken a pic of anything just yet! :) :)

Next stop on the hop is Elizabeth!

Clearsnap + Trinity Paper Arts Blog Hop

Welcome to the Clearsnap and Trinity Paper Arts Blog Hop!! Our Design Teams have "teamed up" to share layouts, projects, and more featuring Trinity Paper Arts' paper collections and Clearsnap's distinctive inks and accessories. From sports to summer and everything in between, kick your sandals off, grab a cold lemonade and enjoy the inspiration. Hop along to each blog listed below and leave a comment.

Each comment is an entry into a drawing to win the entire Trinity Paper Arts' "Surf N Swim" Collection!

PLUS, a second winner will receive Smooch Spritz in Gingersnap, Designer Foils in Blue, and Design Adhesives!

For extra entries, post about this blog hop to Facebook, Twitter or your blog! Just leave a comment on either company blog telling us what you did and each comment will count as your extra entry. And now, let's heat up the summer!!

For my project I combined the Surf and Swim Collection from Trinity Arts with several Clearsnap products to create a two-page layout of last season' s T-Ball photos.

I loved how the more theme neutral B-sides of these papers allowed me to choose my own occasion, even though they are perfect for beach photos. For the background, I used a mask to spray Smooch Spritz in Navy Twinkle.

Also used several of the Design Adhesives (Sentiments, Banner Wishes, BBQ) with Designer Foils (Cherry, Seaport) to highlight the visual triangle.

See the cute little banner Design Adhesives? Love those and don't think I will ever get over banners - they make the perfect embellishment!

Also did a little stamping on the photo. Chalk inks are perfect for stamping on glossy surfaces. I also used them to hightlight the edges of all the papers for a bit of extra dimension. The Primary Petal Point has all the colors you need to coordinate with this paper pack.

And that's all from me today! Don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win!
