Pella Tulip Time

Lately I've been trying to get all my photos from earlier this year scrapped and put together this page from early spring. It was our first visit to the Pella Tulip Festival and wowie was it gorgeous.

Also took a little time to practice masking for the Blog Hop with Crafter's Workshop this weekend (be sure to stop by on Saturday for the hop) and used some neglected Prima flower masks to create a background.

Then I just scattered little random bits all over the page and stamped a few images to fill in the empty areas between photos. Two pagers are so hard for me but I guess if you have a lot of photos it's less room to fill in.

I must have layered up 5 colors of Smooch Spritz - and no warping! Love that stuff!

We will definitely be making the trip a yearly springtime tradition. But for now, I'll just enjoy the fall.

I've recently pulled out the masks for the first time which I bought over a year ago and they're certainly fun to work with. Love being able to make my own backgrounds exactly as I want them :) Love the pics, and the colors of Smooch you chose. And the banner title: awesomeness. Great layout!
