DIY: Princess Slippers

Transforming a pair of plain mary janes into something more special for your daughter is so easy it's practically a crime not to! And it only takes about 20 minutes. All you need is:

Supplies:
1 plain pair of shoes
2 - 10" strips of wide ribbon
2 large jewels
hot glue gun and glue stick

Starting in the center of the shoe, glue down both ends of the ribbon.
Fold to pleat and glue down. Repeat for each pleat.

Put a big blob of glue in the center to hold down.

Secure the jewel in the center with another dab of glue.
Repeat for second shoe and go dazzle your little princess.
Enjoy!!
