This weekend consisted of a visit from my adorable, bubbly sister and her boyfriend, floating down Middle River for 8 relaxing hours and a much needed afternoon nap.

Tonight, I feel totally refreshed and decided to start on my next quilt. Am using fabrics from Heather Ross's Mendocino and Joel Dewberry's Modern Meadow in the palette of of brown, orange, yellow, aqua and white. So handsome together for a boy. Wish I could share pictures but the camera was suffered a quick death by way of river water. Bummer.

Cut all the strips this evening for some rail fence quiltblocks and will hopefully have it all pieced together by the end of the week.
