Welcome Baby Mackenna

This page may be a little late in creation, but July 16th, the kids welcomed a new baby cousin in their lives - Miss Mackenna. She is such a sweet little thing. It's amazing how quickly you forget how small they are at first when your own can run and talk back. And I love this picture of her mother the morning after giving labor - she just looks so content and well rested. The changes that come about in a new mother are just as incredible as the new life itself.

While digging through my stash, I found a paper with large circles and thought they would look so great cut out and layered behind the main photo. Plus that would help the page fit in quite nicely to Paper Issue's most current Peer Pressure issue - Scallops. Another fun new thing I tried was using a laser-cut doily paper as a background mask and misted. As you can see, it warped the paper a bit. The journaling card came from my SC swap partner.

Have a fun and productive weekend!
