I created this birthday card for a little boy with a lego/storm trooper guy from the Sci Fi Characters 2 set. We have a certain young man in the house who will soon turn 6 and is planning to be a police officer - this character could double as a cop, right?

And another card - this one is a elegant, girly take on Halloween using a witch image from Vintage Halloween 2. A butterfly die cut can double as a bat I think.

Fall + Harvest Dress

Fall is here!! Hooray for my favorite season! We did a bit of decorating (which I'll share later) and visited the Harvest Barn for my preschooler's first field trip last week. So fun!

Tractor rides. Climbing on hay bales. Petting goats. Picking the perfect tiny pumpkin. Apple cider and pumpkin spice lattes. Check, check, check.

I made her this little green and brown dress especially for the occasion. It was a maternity dress that doesn't quite fit anymore, but the print has a certain harvest-y, little house on the prairie feel to it. I just cut off the bottom, added a band and reattached the sleeves. Easy peasy.

38 Weeks & Counting Down

38 weeks down, 2 or less to go. Hopefully less.

I must say that I've felt pretty amazing all through this pregnancy. Full of energy, inspired and productive. A little irritable, but otherwise pretty stable emotions. None of the non-stop crying and mood swings experienced with my daughter. It kinda of gives me the feeling that this is going to be one amazing kid. At least we're hoping.

But, I am ready to be done. None of my maternity clothes fit; my tummy hangs out the bottom. Its nearly impossible to sit/stand/lay down comfortably. And I am so stinking hot all the time. Sorry I hate being a  complainer but just had to get that off my chest.

See you soon little babe, can't wait to meet you!

Grateful Anniversary card
